My roommate and I watched Penelope at least once a week when we gave up cable for that one whole year in college. This is one of my favorite scenes not only because I’m a sap but the look on Johnny’s face before he kisses Penelope is stunning. The Sigur Ros song takes it to another level. Even more poignant because it’s Halloween.
